1902. A dream of an Artist.
Julien Dillens, student of sculptor and artist Auguste Rodin, designed his own house as the first in the area of the dunes. The street now bears his name. The house is characterised by the 2 windows in the shape of sails on the side.
He executed among others the Monument at Everard 't Serclaes under the arcades of the Maison de l'Etoile, and in the Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels), The Laurel at the Botanical Garden of Brussels, and the statue of Bernard van Orley (Petit Sablon Square, Brussels).

2022. A Family holiday home. 120 years later...
The house has only known 3 owners after Mr. Dillens.
Bought from the Companie du Zoute, then from its heirs, the current family has owned it since 2014 and has renovated the house with modernity to welcome its guests.
